Low Carb Spaghetti and Meatballs with Pasta Sauce - 6 net carbs

You can have spaghetti with sauce and meatballs for only 6 net carbs.
Makes one serving.  If you double it you may need to adjust the ingredients a little.

Meatballs

5 oz hamburger
2 Tbsp Carbquick
2 Tbsp heavy whipping cream
1/4 Tsp Oregano
1/4 Tsp Garlic Powder
1/4 Tsp Onion Powder
1/4 Tsp Basil
A few shakes of Natures Seasons or a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper.

Spaghetti and Pasta Sauce
1/2 Tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 Tbsp Olive oil
1 8 oz package white shirataki noodles (2 net carbs)
1/2 Cup Bella Vita Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce (4 net carbs) -you may use less
1/4 Cup Parmesan - you may use less
Three to four shakes of Nature's Seasons or pinch salt and pinch pepper

Start to boil the shirataki noodles for 5 minutes.  While these are boiling make the meatballs.  Place the hamburger in a bowl and add 1 tablespoon Carbquick and knead. Then add the second tablespoon of Carbquick, oregano, cream, salt and pepper. Also add the garlic and onion powder. Knead the mixture until everything is mixed.  Then divide the mixture up into four meatballs, roll in hands to make a ball for each and place on a plate.  Microwave on high for 3 minutes.  Take out of microwave and if you want brown them in a pan that would be great or just leave them.  Time may vary due to differences in microwaves.

The noodles should be done.  Drain and place in pan with olive oil, garlic and Natures Seasons/salt and pepper. Cook for 3-5 minutes on medium heat in a skillet.

You can heat the pasta sauce up or just place it on the the noodles.  I just put it on cold and mix it with the noodles and sprinkle the Parmesan on top.  You can adjust the Parmesan...if you don't like it then don't add it. Place with your meatballs and there you have it.

Bella Vita pasta sauce may not be available at your local grocery, and also the Carbquick.  You can order these off of netrition.com.  Low carb pasta sauce is hard to find.  I have tried all of the flavors and like each of them.  I cannot tell the difference between it and high carb pasta sauce.
I use the Matsuda Ho Fun wide white shirataki noodles.  I like the wider noodles better, and it is just personal preference. I got them off of asianfoodgrocier.com.  I have found that both Netrition and Asian Food Grocier are reliable for their deliveries and have good customer service.

I also use Nature's Seasons available at the local grocery in place of regular salt and pepper.  It is easy to use and I really enjoy the flavor better than regular salt and pepper.  I have been using it for years and enjoy it.  It would be worth checking out if you don't have it.  Remember that the vegetables have carbs and will add to your total for this meal.
